Greetings Wolves! We hope this finds you well. As the school year approaches, we want to keep you updated on how the PTO plans to function this year. Things will be very different, but our purpose remains the same: to support the school and provide some fun for the kids.
Our financial support will be needed this year, more than ever. The PTO donates at least $10,000 to the school for Chromebooks each year. As you know, those Chromebooks are essential in today’s learning environment. We plan to keep this obligation to the school. We also hope to provide some funds for any additional equipment deemed necessary for the safety of our staff and students.
To that end, we will still be holding some fundraisers. In addition to the above expenses, we also have fixed costs associated with running the PTO each year. Please know that we understand this has been a tough year for many. We ask that you participate only if you are able. Anything we can raise is beneficial to our school.
In lieu of large in-person events, we are working on several virtual events to still provide opportunities for fun. Please look for information on these events in future communications.
While the PTO has a slightly different role this year, we still look forward to working with all of you virtually. Feel free to reach out to us anytime. Best wishes to you for a successful and healthy school year!
